Quicksilver Gallery

Quicksilver Gallery is proud to feature our two in-house jewelry artists, Lyla O. Allison and Brian Watson. Lyla works with a variety of stones set in sterling silver with 14kt gold accents. Brian’s jewelry is unique in that while each earring is created with the same components, they are not mirror images. Like people, he says they are created equal but different.

In these pieces he manages to capture the spirited character, the jewel like quality, and the pure joy of these fascinating little creatures. The limited edition pieces have a hand-finished patina and are individually signed and numbered by the artist. These pieces are sought by collectors across the United States, Europe, and Asia and have earned Cotterill the title “The Frogman”.

Fusion Squared — During the month of May, Fusion Squared will be featuring the fused glass work of John Rinehart. For over 30 years, John has been exploring different ways to unmask the ethereal properties of glass.
John began working in stained glass and, just like a puzzle, enjoyed creating works of art from individual pieces of glass. But what really hooked him was the opportunity glass provides to play with color. The process of creating is a magical, spiritual journey for John. Capturing the essence of movement and life in his pieces has consumed him for many years. The techniques he learned led him to fused glass. Incorporating dichroic glass into his fused glass and stained glass pieces has led him down new, exciting roads in this enchanted journey.
