A Place of Rest 9x12 Original Oil on Panel
If one were to describe Willis Miller’s work in a single word it would be serene.
Originally from Oklahoma City, Willis now resides in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He began his career as an artist over 30 years ago. Willis creates with feeling and thought as opposed to developing style. Perhaps that’s why the serenity is clearly read in his work.
On Saturday, July 9 from 1pm – 4pm we will host Willis in the Gallery. Then from 6pm – 9pm during our 2nd Saturday Gallery Stroll we’ll have an evening reception for him. This event is in conjunction with Eureka Springs’ 1st annual Fleur Delicious Weekend. Inspired by this French-themed celebration, Willis takes a unique look at the French flag in a painting called Still Held Together. For more information visit the Gallery website at www.83springstreet.com or call 479 253 8310.
