Leo is playing Santa’s helper again this year. He is collecting goodies to take to his pals who will be spending the holidays at the Good Shepherd Humane Society Shelter.

The shelter needs canned food and toys for their residents, both feline and canine. Drop off your items at Zarks Gallery, 67 Spring Street. If you prefer to make a cash donation, make your check out to Good Shepherd Humane Society.

The holidays are showcased throughout the month of December by the entire city of Eureka Springs, and during this time our galleries are shining even more than we do the rest of the year — if that’s possible!

Local artist Carol Dickie will be the featured artist at Eureka Thyme Gallery in Eureka Springs on November 13 from 1-5 p.m.

Dickie is a mixed water media landscape artist who describes her style as abstract naturalism.
