May 1 — The woodcrafters of Eureka Thyme will be featured to kick off the May Fine Arts Festival. Les Casteel of Wood That Rocks crafts fine furniture. John Dilbeck specializes in segmented, turned bowls. Jim Kibby works in wood burl. Join us for a reception from 6 to 9 p.m.

May 8 — Maureen Dailey’s glass assemblage is organic and one-of-a-kind. Meet and greet Maureen from 6 to 9 p.m.

May 15 — Diana Harvey’s oil paintings are well-known in Eureka Springs. In the past year, Diana has had work in four prestigious shows: Masterworks 2009, 18th Annual International Miniature Exhibition at Seaside Gallery, American Art in Miniature at Gilcrease, and 36th Annual International Miniature Show at the Leeper-Rattner Museum in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Learn more about this fine artist at her reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

May 22 — Ken Starbird’s ceramic creations continue to amaze and delight! Sandy Starbird and her fabric primal images are expanding our consciousness daily. These wonderful artisans are combining their talents in amazing ways. Join us to see what this means in a reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

May 29 — The Beaver Bridge is a much-photographed landmark in the Eureka Springs area. Join us to see it through the eyes of our photographers, Randal Thompson, Dale Johnson, Stephen Shogren, Gerry Toler, and Jim Young. This final party in the month-long May Fine Arts Festival will happen all day, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
