Quicksilver Gallery presents the work of potter and sculptor Maura Miller. Her passion for clay began in elementary school, continued through many postgraduate courses in clay and throughout seven years on archeological digs. Maura creates raku masks and ceramic vessels fused with glass.

Quicksilver Gallery is proud to feature our two in-house jewelry artists, Lyla O. Allison and Brian Watson. Lyla works with a variety of stones set in sterling silver with 14kt gold accents. Brian’s jewelry is unique in that while each earring is created with the same components, they are not mirror images. Like people, he says they are created equal but different.
Saturday, 5/15
C, Quicksilver Gallery’s newest jewelry artist, will present her beautiful dichroic glass. Jodie’s glass has a depth and elegance not often seen. New pieces are surrounded by silver, which accents the designs playing in the glass. An accomplished landscape artist, Jodie has brought her creativity to a smaller scale.
Saturday, 5/22
Mark Nichols, paper artist extraordinaire, will be at Quicksilver to discuss his handmade paper. Combining dried plant materials from his garden with the paper, Mark treats the surface with various powdered metals. Patinas give the work warmth, while the combination of organics and metals question what is reality.
