8th Annual Student Art Exhibit - This year marks the 8th Annual High School Art Exhibit at Iris at the Basin Park. Each year the gallery is proud to present the work of high school art students from Berryville and Eureka Springs High Schools. This year’s students became ‘Egyptologists’, studying life in Egypt during the time of the Pharaohs, visiting the ‘World of the Pharaohs’ exhibit at Little Rock’s Arkansas Arts Center and then researching aspects of what they learned. They were challenged to create art that utilized facets of Egyptian life and art of the period.
Iris at the Basin Park will hold an exhibit opening for the students and their families on Thursday, April 29th from 7-8:30 PM. The public is welcome. The exhibit will continue the entire month of May.
